Why brands move from BigCommerce to Shopify.

Every storefront change needs help

You want your team to update products, pages, and campaigns with more confidence.

We build around the changes you make most, then show your team how to make them.

Your tools keep your team busy

Orders and stock updates take extra work when your systems do not agree.

We reconnect the tools you rely on and test the work that happens after an order.

Your next stage needs a different setup

Wholesale, new markets, or retail locations may change what you need from your store.

We check how Shopify fits those plans, including the costs and trade-offs, before you commit.

Frequently asked questions.

Should I move from BigCommerce to Shopify?

A move should solve a real problem for your customers or team. We compare your daily work, essential features, and ongoing costs before recommending it. Fixing the current setup may be enough.

How long does the move take, and what does it cost?

That depends on your catalog, storefront, connected tools, and any wholesale requirements. We review those first and agree the scope, price, and timeline before work starts. Ongoing Shopify and app costs are part of that conversation.

Do my product options transfer directly?

Not always. BigCommerce treats variants and modifiers, such as engraving or add-ons, differently. We map those choices to the right Shopify setup and test pricing, stock, and the details sent to fulfillment.

Can customers keep their accounts and order history?

Customer records and historical orders use separate migration methods. Passwords do not transfer through Shopify’s customer CSV. We agree the history to retain and test returning-customer access; Shopify customer accounts support sign-in with an emailed code.

What happens to gift cards and store credit?

They need a separate reconciliation and migration plan. We check available balances, currencies, and redemption rules, then agree how to carry the value forward. Keep BigCommerce access until the records and the new redemption process are verified.

Can we keep our wholesale pricing and connected systems?

We check your customer groups, pricing rules, and daily workflows against the proposed Shopify plan and apps. Some functions need rebuilding. You see the replacements and ongoing costs before approving the move.

What happens to search rankings and marketing?

We map important URLs, check content and redirects, and review shopping feeds and tracking around launch. Rankings can fluctuate during a platform move. Monitoring helps us find broken links, feed issues, and measurement gaps quickly.

Can we keep selling while the new store is built?

We build alongside your BigCommerce store and agree when to transfer the latest orders and stock. The launch plan covers any pause needed for your setup, the final checks, and what happens if the switch needs to be delayed.
