Build a Shopify store that doesn't need babysitting
We design, build, and migrate Shopify stores for brands doing real volume, then wire them into the ERP, CRM, and shipping rules that keep the back office quiet.

the_build_bundle
Your store is paying everyone’s salary. We know.
That is why these are not separate projects for you to scope and sequence yourself. They are the parts of one Shopify build, run by one team on one plan, and the free audit comes before any sales call. Open any of them for the detail.

Most engagements start with two or three of these and grow into the rest. You are quoted for the parts you need, in writing, never for the bundle.
not_always_a_new_build
A lot of Shopify development starts life as a migration
Plenty of this work does not begin with "build us a store". It begins with a platform that has become the constraint: Magento needing a developer for every change, WooCommerce fighting its own plugins, a POS that never agreed with the website. The build is the same craft either way. What a migration adds is the part nobody sees until it goes wrong, which is moving the catalog, the customers, the order history, and every ranking URL without losing any of them.

symptoms
The problem
“Every order gets typed into our ERP by hand.”
Two people spend their mornings re-keying what the website already knows. Errors show up as short shipments and credit notes weeks later.
“Our theme was fine two years ago. Now every change breaks something.”
Layers of app snippets and abandoned code mean a small content edit turns into a developer ticket and a regression.
“We don't know if the site is slow or if it's just us.”
Nobody is looking at field data, so performance arguments run on opinion and a Lighthouse score from a laptop on office wifi.

Server-side tracking, consent handling, and a revenue dashboard that agrees with your finance numbers.
Post-launch support window
30 daysEverything we shipped stays our problem for a month after go-live, with no change-request billing.
free_first_step
Start with the free audit, not a sales call
We review your store with read-only access and send written findings: what is costing you orders, what it would take to fix, and what we would not touch. If the honest answer is that you do not need us, the audit says so.

questions
Shopify Design, Development and Migration FAQs
How long does a Shopify build actually take?
Six to ten weeks for most builds, measured from the end of discovery to go-live. Discovery adds a week. What extends it is almost never design: it is catalog data quality and how many systems have to agree with each other. A single ERP integration adds two to three weeks. If your product data needs cleanup before it can be migrated, that work happens in parallel but it has a floor.
Will we lose search rankings when we replatform?
Not if the redirect map is done properly. Every existing URL gets mapped to its new destination before launch, we keep the mapping in a spreadsheet you can audit, and we monitor Search Console for 404s and crawl errors for 30 days after cutover. Expect a short dip in the first two weeks while Google recrawls, then recovery. The risk is real but it is a process problem, not an unavoidable cost.
Do we own the code, or are we locked into you?
You own all of it. Theme code lives in your GitHub organization, the store is in your Shopify account, and any middleware runs on infrastructure billed to you. We do not hold licenses, we do not use proprietary page builders, and we do not charge to hand things over. If you want to move to another agency or bring it in-house, everything they need is already in your accounts with documentation.
Can you work with our existing theme instead of rebuilding?
Often yes, and we will tell you when that is the cheaper answer. If the theme is a well-maintained commercial one with sane structure, extending it is usually the better spend. We recommend a rebuild when the theme has accumulated years of app snippets and dead code, when it predates Online Store 2.0 so your team cannot edit content, or when performance problems trace back to theme architecture rather than apps.
What happens to our order history and customer accounts?
Customers, addresses, and historical orders migrate. Passwords cannot transfer between platforms for security reasons, so customers set a new password on first login, and we handle that with a communication sequence rather than letting people discover it at checkout. Subscription contracts are the one genuinely difficult case: those usually need coordination with the subscription app vendor and sometimes re-authorization from the customer.
Who does the work after the sales call?
The same people who were on the call. You get a named senior developer and a named lead for the engagement, and there is no handoff to a junior team once the contract is signed. We run a weekly standing call, keep one shared backlog you can see, and send a Loom recap each week so progress is visible without you chasing it.
