Source and measurement notes

Source: April 2026 account review; Google Search Console, accessed through Ahrefs. The April 2, 2026 account review reported approximately 7× Google Ads ROAS, up from about 5.5× in the comparison discussed. ROAS measures attributed conversion value per unit of ad spend, not profit; the exact reporting dates were not recorded. Search figures compare April-June 2026 with April-June 2025: web search, all countries and devices, 91 days in each period. Clicks are not customers or orders. These results reflect observed account performance alongside the work of the client and its partners, rather than a controlled measure of any one change.

The Challenge

More orders only help if the business can serve them. This off-grid retailer needed its ads, online store and customer team working toward the same sale, with product availability the team could trust.

A large catalog brought very different order values and margins. Marketing decisions needed to consider what each order returned, while store improvements had to fit the existing retail and support operation.

The Solution

We connected the work around the sale: a modernized Shopify store, clearer stock controls, customer follow-up and campaign measurement. The aim was to support growth from the first click through the next customer conversation.

Measure the sale. Make the spend count.

Enhanced conversions and customer audiences supported campaign measurement. The April 2026 account review recorded roughly 7× Google Ads ROAS, up from around 5.5× in the comparison discussed. Reviews also considered margins, fulfilment costs and repeat buying when deciding where to grow.

Keep customer interest moving

Shopify checkout activity flowed into HubSpot sales and support workflows, giving the team a clearer place to follow up. Customer audiences also fed paid media, connecting existing relationships with the next campaign.

Sell what you can fulfil

Stock controls kept unavailable products out of online checkout while preserving them for local store workflows. The team could manage availability without removing the product from the business. Alongside this work, Canadian Google Search clicks grew 21% year over year in Q2 2026.
