Case study

One hat, built to be worn every day

Franky's makes merino wool hats in Portugal: one size, unstructured six-panel, Italian silk lining, embroidered front and back. The brand needed a shop that felt like the product, not a catalog. eSolve built the storefront at frankys-hats.com around a single buy path, an on-page AR try-on, and worldwide shipping.

The Challenge

A one-hat brand cannot hide behind assortment. Every pixel has to sell the same object, and the usual storefront patterns (mega-menus, collection grids, sale badges) work against that. Franky's needed a shop that looked like the hat: one thing, worn every day.

Fit is the conversion gap for headwear bought online. Shipping worldwide from Portugal does not help if the shopper cannot tell whether the unstructured six-panel will sit right. The site had to close that gap on the product page, not in a size chart PDF.

The Solution

We built a single-product storefront that keeps the hat in the frame from the first scroll to the buy button, with AR try-on on the product itself and a shipping promise that matches how the brand actually fulfills.

One product, one path

The shop is the hat. Navigation stays out of the way, the merino story sits next to the buy action, and there is no collection maze to wander through. Specs that matter (one size, Portugal, silk lining, embroidery) stay visible instead of being buried in an accordion.

AR try-on on the product page

Try-in-AR sits beside Buy, so fit is a gesture rather than a guess. The shopper can see the unstructured six-panel on their own head before they commit to €80 and a transatlantic shipment.

Worldwide shipping, stated up front

The shipping promise is part of the first screen, not a footer surprise. The buy path assumes an international cart from the start, which matches how a Portugal-made hat actually leaves the building.

A voice that matches the object

Copy stays as short as the product line: All Day. Every Day. The storefront does not invent a lifestyle universe around the hat; it lets the photography and the object do the talking.

The Results

Franky's launched as a single-product shop with AR on the buy path and worldwide shipping stated up front. The live store is frankys-hats.com.
